Cosa è necessario preparare in anticipo quando si spediscono merci pericolose
Per una gestione agevole della tua spedizione, ti consigliamo di familiarizzare con quanto segue:
1. Dangerous good classification
Conformemente al codice IMDG, le merci pericolose sono raggruppate in 9 classi (e sottoclassi) differenti e nominate con numeri ONU specifici.
Materie come armi e munizioni, fuochi artificiali, party popper, materie esplosive e pirotecniche, ecc. Classe 1 – Materie e oggetti esplosivi
Materie come ipoclorito di calcio, perossido d’idrogeno, fertilizzanti a base di nitrato di potassio e nitrato di ammonio, coloranti per capelli, ecc. Classe 5.1 – Materie comburenti
Materie come aerosol, accendini, gas liquido, acetilene (per saldatura) etilene (per far maturare la frutta), idrogeno (per uso industriale), ecc. Classe 2.1 – Gas infiammabili
Materie come kit di riparazione fibre di vetro, indurenti Classe 5.2 – Perossidi organici
Materie come agenti estinguenti, gas refrigeranti, diossido di carbonio (per dispensatore di soft drink, elio e argon, ecc.) Classe 2.2 – Gas non infiammabili, non tossici
Materie come pesticidi, cianuro di sodio per il trattamento di metalli, sale di cromo per galvanoplastica, diisocianato di toluene, ecc. Classe 6.1 – Materie tossiche
Materie come cloro, ammoniaca (per il congelamento industriale), bromuro di metil e ossido di etilene (per fumigazione), ecc. Classe 2.3 – Gas tossici
Materie come campioni di sangue, prodotti biologici derivati da organismi viventi, ecc. Classe 6.2 – Materie infettanti
Materie come pitture, smalti, prodotti di profumeria, adesivi, soluzioni a base di resina, inchiostri da stampa, soluzioni per il lavaggio a secco, ecc. Classe 3 – Liquidi infiammabili
Materie come dispositivi industriali per la misurazione dello spessore, per la sterilizzazione di prodotti medicali, rilevatori di fumo, ecc. Classe 7 – Materie radioattive
Materie come fiammiferi, polvere di zolfo, canfora, naftalina (palline), paraformaldeide, borneolo, ecc. Classe 4.1 – Solidi infiammabili
Materie come pastiglie per lavastoviglie, acido acetico, acido citrico, soda caustica, batterie per autovetture e camion, ecc. Classe 8 – Materie corrosive
Materie come fosforo, copra, farina di pesce, ecc. Classe 4.2 – Materie soggette ad accensione spontanea
Materie o articoli aventi proprietà pericolose non coperte dalle classi 1-8 Classe 9 – Materie e oggetti con pericoli diversi
Class 1 – Explosives
Substance like Arms & Ammunition, Fireworks, Party Poppers, Cartridge & Pyrotechnic etc.
Class 2.1 – Flammable gases
Substance like Aerosol, Lighters, Liquified Gas, Acetylene (For welding) Ethylene (for ripening fruits), Hydrogen (For Industrial use) etc.
Class 2.2 – Non-flammable, non-toxic gases
Substance like Fire Extinguishers, Refrigerant Gas , Carbon di oxide( For Soft drink dispensing machine, Helium & Argon etc.
Class 2.3 – Toxic gases
Substance like Chlorine, Ammonia (for industrial Freezing), Methyl bromide & Ethylene oxide (for fumigation) etc.
Class 3 – Flammable liquids
Substance like Paint, Varnish, Perfumery products, Adhesives, Resin solution, Printing ink, Dry cleaning fluids etc.
Class 4.1 – Flammable solids
Substance like Matches, Sulphur Powder, Camphor, Naphthalene (balls), Paraformaldehyde, Borneol etc.
Class 4.2 – Spontaneously combustibles
Substance like Phosphorus, Copra, Fish meal etc.
Class 4.3 – Dangerous when wet
Substance like Calcium Carbide, Sodium, Ferrosilicon and Potassium metals.
Class 5.1 – Oxidizing substances
Substance like Calcium hypochlorite, Hydrogen per oxide, Fertilisers Potassium Nitrate & Ammonium Nitrate, Hair colouring etc.
Class 5.2 – Organic peroxides
Substance like Hardeners, Fiberglass repair kit.
Class 6.1 – Toxic substances
Substance like Pesticides, Sodium Cyanide for Metal treatment, Chromium Salt for electroplating & Tolune Diisocyanate etc.
Class 6.2 – Infectious substances
Substance like Blood sample, Biological product derived from living organisms etc.
Class 7 – Radio active material
Substance like Industrial thickness measuring devices, for sterilisation of medical product, Smoke detector etc.
Class 8 – Corrosive substances
Substance like Dishwasher tablets, Acetic acid, Citric Acid, Caustic soda, Car & Truck Batteries etc.
Class 9 – Miscellaneous dangerous goods
Substance or article have dangerous properties not covered by classes from 1 to 8.
2. Packing group
A seconda di come la spedizione Merci Pericolose sia imballata, cambia il livello di pericolo nella fase di trasporto. Esistono tre gruppi d’imballaggio:
Gruppo d’imballaggio I: materie molto pericolose
Gruppo d’imballaggio II: materie mediamente pericolose
Gruppo d’ imballaggio III: materie poco pericolose
3. Proper shipping name (PSN)
Utilizzare sempre la corretta designazione ufficiale di trasporto per la dichiarazione del carico, conformemente al codice IMDG. Questa specifica in modo chiaro la natura del carico.
Ad esempio:
N. ONU 1266, canale n. 5 – non corretto
N. ONU 1266, PRODOTTI PER PROFUMERIA – corretto
4. Dangerous goods documentation
Nella maggior parte dei casi deve presentarci la scheda di dati di sicurezza (MSDS) e la dichiarazione di merce pericolosa (DGD). A volte è necessario che ci fornisca ulteriore documentazione, come ad es. il certificato attestante l’esposizione all’ambiente, certificato di analisi (CoA) o Approvazione dell’autorità competente (CAA).
